St0ic Farms

Stoic Farms was founded in the spring of 2019 by the Dorenbusch family. The original herd consisted of five Icelandic sheep (two rams and three ewes), two dogs, two cats, one horse, and of course our namesake, Stoic the goat. The idea for the farm came after the family took a short vacation the summer before to Iceland. There they fell in love with the rugged and beautiful landscape, culture, and of course animals. The name itself came from a combination of the goat and the family's ability to survive many obstacles which had been thrown at them throughout the previous years.
